Someone really wants their Easter egg back!

yikes....I hope this sign wasn't meant for me (see post below)!  I thought the egg was a gift from my boyfriend but maybe not?!

My boyfriend left a big chocolate egg wrapped in gold foil outside my door.  He is the cutest.

LOOK LEFT AND SMILE :-)

Someone added "AND SMILE" after "LOOK LEFT" on the street.  How sweet!

Wisteria in Notting Hill

ferrari mommy

I bought a slightly larger "mommy" chick.

The mommy seems to enjoy riding on ferraris in Notting Hill!

The baby chick prankster

Someone left a baby chick on my room door, and I have no idea who!  They even created a facebook profile for the chick with the name "Thomas Chick."  Who is the mystery baby chick prankster?!  If you are reading this and you're the culprit, it's time to turn yourself in!!  :-)

adorable couple

My boyfriend and I ran into the most adorable older couple holding hands at Waitrose in Brunswick Centre.  While we were waiting in line in front of them, we started chatting.  They were holding hands the whole time, and we spoke to them about mint chocolate powder and other miscellaneous things.  (We were buying mint chocolate powder, milk, and baileys in order to make delicious cocktails.)  We both thought they were so cute, and I think maybe they thought we were cute as well.  After we left, we took a photo of the couple.  (I wanted a better-quality photo, but we didn't want them to see us and think we were stalkers.)   My boyfriend and I then walked back home (holding hands just like the old couple)!

Circus performers!

Last weekend I went to a cocktail bar/cabaret restaurant in Covent Garden called Circus.  I had never been there before and didn't know anything about the place, so I was quite surprised to see burlesque performers climb onto a long banquet table (where people were still eating!) and begin dancing and twirling through hoops.  Just when I thought things couldn't get any stranger or more exciting,  some sexy ladies entered and began playing with fire!

I plan to go back there sometime soon.  Their cocktails are incredible - they have everything from lavender honey sours (Irish whiskey + French herb liqueur shaken with fresh lemon and lavender honey) to mixed berry juleps (cognac and bourbon churned with mint, seasonal berries, and demerara sugar).
