shopping on Portobello Road!

There was some cool vintage jewelry, flowers, and antiques, but my favorite part was probably the adorable pastel-colored flats!

purple foxes everywhere!

I went to Liberty department store today & became obsessed with these sparkly purple foxes that were placed all over the store for the holiday season. I asked if I could buy one even though they are just decorative, and they are apparently going to be selling them in December! The countdown begins! I simply must have one!

I'm finally done with my big essay for the Courtauld! I had some crazy printer malfunctions & construction dudes drilling RIGHT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW while I was frantically trying to finish, but I managed to get it done! To celebrate I went to The Rake, a cool pub right by Southwark Cathedral, with some school buddies.

Borough Market!

Borough Market is incredible! Check out the olives, owl cookies, fish, pheasants, & crumbly fudge! yum! I was going to buy a pheasant but thought the fudge might be a bit easier to take home. :-)

Halloween cocktail party on Winchester St.!

This party was full of Halloween mischief, such as donut eating and apple bobbing! Thanks to Jana, Ashley, and Laurence for an awesome party!

Victoria & Albert Museum!

More shots from the V&A!

Victoria & Albert Museum!

I went to the V&A Museum for the first time today and absolutely fell in love! I want to live there! I couldn't take pictures of the awesome treasures inside, but check out the gorgeousness of the building's exterior:

Pathway to/from Holy Trinity Brompton Church

Holy Trinity Brompton Church

A beautiful Anglican church (also near the V&A Museum)...

Brompton Oratory

aka Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Beautiful Roman Catholic Church in South Kensington right by the V&A Museum. Nick Cave wrote a song about this place, and it's my 2nd favorite song on The Boatman's Call album. (Where do we go but nowhere is my 1st fav) There's a black and white youtube video of the song at this link: It's a beautiful, mournful song, and seeing this place reminded me of how much I love Nick Cave.

After watching that Brompton Oratory video, I just had to watch this other great Nick Cave youtube video of The Ship Song: Love it.
