Afternoon tea at the Wolseley

Crystal Palace dinosaurs

The Crystal Palace dinosaurs are my new favorite thing about London! The sculptures of dinosaurs and extinct animals were completed by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins under the supervision of Sir Richard Owen for the 1854 Crystal Palace exhibition. The Crystal Palace park has a prehistoric atmosphere and provides the perfect backdrop for these awesome creatures!

Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium

Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium, London's first cat cafe, just opened. We went for afternoon tea and made a lot of new feline friends!

Choccywoccydoodah

Choccywoccydoodah is a chocolate store on Carnaby Street known for elaborate and unique chocolate cakes and gifts. Love the white chocolate unicorn surrounded by purple and blue flowers!

Gail's

My new favorite place to eat in London is Gail's Bakery. I had the most delicious wildberry tea, glazed walnut scone, and blueberry pancakes. Everything I saw there looked divine - can't wait to go back and try some more of those pastries!

Red House

James and I went to visit Red House, the beautiful house in Bexleyheath where William Morris lived for five years. It was designed by Morris and the architect Philip Webb in 1859. We both tried to match our outfits with the house by wearing red. :-)
