I've just returned from Windermere. I went there with my boyfriend to help him with his qualifying swim for his English Channel swim in September. (I had to feed him gels and bananas periodically.) He swam for 6 hrs. in the lake. I was so proud of him and enjoyed spending time in the beautiful Lake District!
