Halloween cocktail party on Winchester St.!

Victoria & Albert Museum!
I went to the V&A Museum for the first time today and absolutely fell in love! I want to live there! I couldn't take pictures of the awesome treasures inside, but check out the gorgeousness of the building's exterior:
Brompton Oratory
aka Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Beautiful Roman Catholic Church in South Kensington right by the V&A Museum. Nick Cave wrote a song about this place, and it's my 2nd favorite song on The Boatman's Call album. (Where do we go but nowhere is my 1st fav) There's a black and white youtube video of the song at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_esUexstdbg. It's a beautiful, mournful song, and seeing this place reminded me of how much I love Nick Cave.
After watching that Brompton Oratory video, I just had to watch this other great Nick Cave youtube video of The Ship Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKlaV-9Vzsk. Love it.

lace-up ankle booties
I needed some comfy but fashionable shoes other than cowboy boots to walk around London in. Hence these new black lace-up ankle booties from Office. They are simple, but I luv them.

Rossetti
I have not had time to explore London recently due to a hectic schedule and a bad cold/sinus infection. Also, I am currently in the middle of an essay on Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
Did you know that Rossetti had a pet wombat?
