PARIS!

Recently I went to Paris for a long weekend with my boyfriend. We had the best time walking around the city and visiting Notre Dame, museums, department stores, coffee shops, and more! See below for some highlights from the trip.

My boyfriend prepared this lovely meal of ribs, asparagus, and carrots (with orange), and it was quite yummy. :-)

Thanksgiving!

My boyfriend and I ordered Thanksgiving food from Bea's in Bloomsbury today. The turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and green beans were delicious. There was so much food though - we both suffered from serious food comas afterwards!!

Saw this pretty pink building on Endell Street in Covent Garden. I want to live there!

Baked Alaska

I discovered a dessert called a "Baked Alaska" this weekend at one of my favorite restaurants, Giant Robot in Clerkenwell. It consists of cake and ice cream with a lot of meringue on top. The giant white poof is then set on fire to firm the meringue (and somehow the ice cream inside still stays cold). It was a fun dessert experience (and thank goodness my hair didn't catch on fire)!

Carey Place

I was walking the streets of London tonight and came across Carey Place! I can't believe London has a "place" named after me! I was so excited that I posed for a photo in front of 1 Carey Place.

Huge holiday truffles

Stores are already selling Christmas goodies, such as these HUGE Lindor truffles at Waitrose! I've never seen a truffle so big in my life, and I'm sure anyone who tried to eat the whole thing at once would have a heart attack!

Halloween snacks

Marks & Spencer has the best Halloween snacks. Got these ghost and vampire bat chips and a bucket full of gummy brains and fangs! My boyfriend and I are in a really spooky mood now!

Dromoland Castle

I was recently at my boyfriend's brother's wedding at Dromoland Castle in Ireland. It was a lovely wedding, and the castle and gardens were so gorgeous. I was obsessed with the red leaves against the grey stone - so beautiful!
