Summer break in NYC

I spent some time in NYC this summer for my best friend Maria's wedding and thought I would post a few pictures from the trip. I had a wonderful time and remembered how strange and random NYC can be!

Obsessed with the charming views, Roman history, breathtaking architecture, and honey-colored stone in this city...can't wait to make another trip there!

Kiftsgate Gardens

I also visited Kiftsgate Gardens (next door to Hidcote). Kiftsgate is a series of interconnecting gardens, each with its own special character. The gardens are the creation of three generations of women gardeners. I kept expecting to see fairies, gnomes, and other magical creatures here! I was blown away by the ferns, the profusion of red and pink, the gorgeous roses, and the tiny purple "stars"!
