Purple Crocuses at Lincoln's Inn Fields

Virginia Woolf's room

I just moved into a room at Goodenough College in Mecklenburgh Square where Virginia Woolf used to live. Pretty exciting! Hopefully her spirit will help me write my dissertation.

Cat ice cream cup

I met a friend at Ciao Bella, a great Italian restaurant in Bloomsbury, and ordered this amazing dessert - chocolate chip ice cream inside a cat cup! (It's Tom from "Tom and Jerry.")

Afternoon tea at the Wolseley

Crystal Palace dinosaurs

The Crystal Palace dinosaurs are my new favorite thing about London! The sculptures of dinosaurs and extinct animals were completed by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins under the supervision of Sir Richard Owen for the 1854 Crystal Palace exhibition. The Crystal Palace park has a prehistoric atmosphere and provides the perfect backdrop for these awesome creatures!

Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium

Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium, London's first cat cafe, just opened. We went for afternoon tea and made a lot of new feline friends!

Choccywoccydoodah

Choccywoccydoodah is a chocolate store on Carnaby Street known for elaborate and unique chocolate cakes and gifts. Love the white chocolate unicorn surrounded by purple and blue flowers!

Gail's

My new favorite place to eat in London is Gail's Bakery. I had the most delicious wildberry tea, glazed walnut scone, and blueberry pancakes. Everything I saw there looked divine - can't wait to go back and try some more of those pastries!
